I think it's really important to invest in "passion projects"- those projects where I get to really indulge my creativity and make a shoot exactly what I want it to be! This shoot was so fun and such a labor of love. I worked with Amy at All Things Planned to bring my vision to life and together we really created something special!
This shoot was so much fun! I always love working with Tara over at The Light Co. Photography- she has the SWEETEST clients that are always so in love, charming, and easy-going. I'll be second shooting their wedding with Tara this summer, so she let me tag along on their engagement shoot so these adorable peeps could get used to me and my shooting style. Plus it's always been on my bucket list to shoot at Sekrit Theater in Austin and Tara is the bomb and wanted me to be able to shoot there! You can see the KILLER (and I do mean KILLER) shots Tara got on her blog right here. Can't wait for their wedding! It's going to be at an amazing venue and I'm dying already.
This post has been a long time coming! Baby Gray is already here and SO snuggly and perfect! If you aren't familiar with Cassy from the hugely popular Fed + Fit blog, go check her out immediately! She posts the most delicious recipes that are healthy and a cinch to make! She is SO sweet, and so is her adorable doggo Gus! And her husband Austin was so kind and doted on her the whole shoot... what a lucky little baby Gray is- to be born into such a warm and loving family! You can see Cassy's faves from our shoot here.
Amy is a dear friend that I met when she joined our department at Texas A&M. She has since moved on to bigger and better things in Austin, but we've kept in touch and I was honored when she asked me to shoot her wedding! Brian is kind, creative, and deeply loving, and I am so happy Ames has found someone who treasures her and realizes how special she is. They got married at Paul Davis Park in Garden Ridge, TX, near her grandmother's house. I wasn't sure what to expect when she told me they were going to be married at a park, but oh my gosh- this park has the most beautiful old oak trees and a fun forest-type area, and a couple of fun bridges. It's so easy to feel transported to another world! You can see Amy's favorite photos from their day here.
This post is waaaaaay overdue, but I had to share this wedding! I was second shooting for the always lovely Tara of The Light Co. Check her out if you're in Austin - I love working with her!
This was one of the most beautiful weddings I've been a part of! It was a hot but gorgeous summer day at the beautiful Le San Michele in Buda, TX, just outside of Austin. This place is like something out of a Tuscan dream. Everywhere I looked there was texture and light and color- so pretty!
Every year my family goes to a pumpkin patch in Waco and we take family photos. It's so fun to see the kiddos grow up!
